We are almost seven months into this big adventure, parenting two children. As we hoped, Kate has been an outstanding big sister. She adores "our baby" and, in the morning, upon catching a glimpse of his sister's crazy curls peeking over the edge of our bed, Conor's face breaks into a special grin for Kate. There is a mischievous glint in his eyes already when he looks at her. I feel a bit of regret that I didn't manage to blog over the last seven months. There were dozens of posts contemplated but life is busy and I've grown a little lazy and covet the moments where my lap is unoccupied and my hands and focus is unencumbered and I would rather talk to Skip, read a book, or mindlessly skip around the internet. It's easier to post a quick thought or caption on Facebook than to contemplate an entire post. I want to make promises that this first post on the new blog is going to cause me to be more diligent, but I doubt it ;p. I hope to post a few thoughts here and there and a few images to chronicle this crazy, chaotic, wonderful time we are having with our two sweet babies. I posted an average of once every three days during Kate's first year. Poor Conor's chronicles will fall woefully short, but he appears to have such a naturally happy disposition, I am certain he won't hold grudges against his mama.
